This was my first trip to NY where I actually got to explore the city on my own with a good amount of time and be a tourist. Pretty much, all I did was eat, visit museums, and shop. The highlights of my trip include: The MET, Juliana's Pizza, Dominique Ansel Bakery, a Helmut Lang shoot with Selena Forrest, Cosme, "The Ten" c/o Virgil Abloh installation at 21 Mercer, the Drunken Dumpling, Momofuku, and hitting all the vintage thrift spots in NYC recommended by the plug Sasha. I also got to see exhibits from Daniel Arsham, Brian Calvin, and Tom Sachs. As for the stores that are a must when in NY (without giving up any hidden gems): KITH, Off-White EM PTY gallery c/o Virgil Abloh, TOTOKAELO, Barney's NY, Patron of the New, Dover Street Market, Rick Owens, and Opening Ceremony come out on top. I'll end this note by saying that Sweet Chick shits on Roscoe's (sorry not sorry). Enjoy the photo gallery below.
